Die Niederländische Extrem-Thrash-Metal-Band Legion of the Damned entstand in den frühen Jahren des 21. Jahrhunderts und machte sich schnell einen Namen. Unterstützung etablierter Namen wie Cannibal Corpse, Kataklysm und Sodom auf Europatourneen sowie Auftritte auf legendären Festivals wie dem Wacken Open Air. All dies trug zur schnellen Etablierung ihrer tödlichen Marke von zerquetschendem Thrash Metal bei. Ihr erstes Full-Length-Album Malevolent Rapture sah die Deadlights im Jahr 2006. Schnell folgte das hochgeschätzte: Sons of the Jackal im Jahr 2007 und mehr releases wovon : Slaves of the Shadow realm, anfang 2019 die letzte bis jetzt ist.

De Nederlandse extreme thrash metal band Legion of the Damned ontstond in de vroege jaren van de 21e eeuw en maakte snel naam. Als support act bij o.a. Cannibal Corpse, Kataklysm en Sodom op Europese tournees en optredens op legendarische festivals zoals Wacken Open Air, dit alles droeg bij aan de snelle vestiging van hun dodelijke merk van verpletterende thrash metal. Hun eerste volledige album Malevolent Rapture zag de Deadlights in 2006. De zeer gewaardeerde volgde snel: Sons of the Jackal in 2007 en meer releases waarvan: Slaves of the Shadow realm, de laatste tot nu toe begin 2019.

The Dutch extreme thrash metal band Legion of the Damned emerged in the early years of the 21st century and quickly made a name for themselves. Supporting bands as Cannibal Corpse, Kataklysm and Sodom on European tours and performing at legendary festivals such as Wacken Open Air, all contributed to the rapid establishment of their deadly brand of crushing thrash metal. Their first full-length album Malevolent Rapture saw the Deadlights in 2006. The highly acclaimed soon followed: Sons of the Jackal in 2007 and more releases of which: Slaves of the Shadow realm, the last to date in early 2019.
