Leider konnten die für letzten Sommer geplanten “ONCE IN A LIFETIME” European Tour-Daten von Rose Tattoo aufgrund der immer noch vorherrschenden Pandemie in Europa nicht wie geplant stattfinden. Das australische Powerhouse-Quintett kündigt jedoch nicht nur Ersatztermine für 2022 an, sondern verlängert die Tour um zwei weitere Shows in Belgien und Deutschland.
1976 legten die Hardrock-Ikonen den Grundstein für eine Karriere, die das Prädikat „legendär“ wirklich verdient. Die dienstälteste noch aktive Hardrock-Band ist trotz einiger Auszeiten und Besetzungswechsel wie der oft zitierte Phoenix aus der Rock ’n‘ Roll-Asche aufgestanden, nur um es jetzt noch härter zu machen. Die „extreme Band für extreme Menschen“, wie es Frontmann Gary „Angry“ Anderson rückblickend formuliert, ist der energetische Soundtrack mehrerer Generationen, der musikalische Ausdruck eines unverwechselbaren Lebensstils und nicht zuletzt wichtige Inspiration für zahlreiche Bands.
Auch wenn sich die Wut der Vergangenheit geändert hat, ist sie nicht überholt und sucht ihren Ausdruck in der beeindruckend harten Power, die diese Band live mit Songs wie „Bad Boy for Love, „The Butcher and Fast Eddy“, „Nice Boys“ oder „Rock ’n‘ Roll Outlaw!“ zum Ausdruck bringt!

Helaas konden de “ONCE IN A LIFETIME” European Tour-data van Rose Tattoo die voor afgelopen zomer waren gepland, niet plaatsvinden zoals gepland vanwege de nog steeds heersende pandemie in Europa. Het Australische Powerhouse kondigt echter niet alleen nieuwe data aan voor 2022, maar verlengt deze ook met twee extra shows in België en Duitsland.
In 1976 legden de hardrockiconen de basis voor een carrière die het predicaat „legendarisch“ echt verdient. De langst dienende nog steeds actieve hardrockband is opgestaan als de vaak geciteerde Phoenix uit de Rock ’n‘ Roll-as ondanks enige vrije tijd en line-upwisselingen, om het nu nog harder aan te pakken. De „extreme band voor extreme mensen“, zoals frontman Gary „Angry“ Anderson het achteraf stelt, is de energieke soundtrack van meerdere generaties, de muzikale uitdrukking van een onderscheidende levensstijl en last but not least belangrijke inspiratie voor tal van bands.
Ook al is de woede van vroeger veranderd, het is niet achterhaald en zoekt nog steeds naar zijn uitdrukking in de indrukwekkend zware power die deze band live te bieden heeft met nummers als „Bad Boy for Love, „The Butcher en fast Eddy“, „Nice Boys“ of „Rock ’n‘ Roll Outlaw!

Unfortunately, Rose Tattoo’s ONCE IN A LIFETIME European Tour dates planned for last summer couldn’t take place as scheduled due to the still prevalent pandemic in Europe. However, the Australian powerhouse announces not only rescheduled dates for 2022, but also extends the run by two additional shows in Belgium and Germany.
In 1976, the hard rock icons laid the foundation for a career that really deserves the attribute „legendary“. The longest serving still active hard rock band has stood up like the often-quoted Phoenix out of the Rock ’n‘ Roll ashes despite some time off and line-up changes, only to hit it even harder now. The „extreme band for extreme people“, as front man Gary „Angry“ Anderson puts it in retrospect, is the energetic soundtrack of several generations, the musical expression of a distinctive lifestyle and last but not least important inspiration for numerous bands.
Even though the rage of the past has changed, it is not outdated and is still looking for its expression in the impressively heavy power that this band has to offer live with songs like „Bad Boy for Love, „The Butcher and fast Eddy“, „Nice Boys“ or “Rock ’n‘ Roll Outlaw!
